Privacy policy

Last updated 2 August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Zoey Ventures, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with our website at zoeyventures.com. Our applications have their own policies, listed under Our apps below.

The short version

  • There are no accounts on this site. It is an informational site with a contact form.
  • If you message us through the contact form, we receive what you put in it — and nothing else.
  • We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not sell or rent your personal information.

What we collect

The contact form

If you send us a message through the contact form, we receive your name, email address and whatever you write in it. That is the only information you actively give us through this site. The message is delivered to our inbox by Resend, our email provider — we do not store it in a database of our own.

Spam protection

The contact form can be protected by Google reCAPTCHA v3, which scores how likely a submission is to be automated. To do that it sends Google technical signals about your device and how you interact with the page, along with your IP address.

We ask before loading it. Until you agree, no Google script runs and nothing is sent to Google. If you decline, the form asks you to email us directly instead — we would rather lose the form than load a tracker you did not agree to. You can change your mind at any time using Privacy choices at the foot of any page. If you do agree, your use of reCAPTCHA is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Server logs

Like most websites, our web host may automatically record standard technical server logs — such as your IP address and browser user-agent string — for security, spam prevention, and to keep the site running. These logs are retained only as long as needed for those purposes.

Cookies and local storage

We set no cookies of our own, and we do not use cookies to track visitors for advertising. We store one thing in your browser’s local storage: your answer to the reCAPTCHA question above, so we do not have to ask again on every page. It holds nothing but that choice and the date you made it, and it never leaves your browser.

If — and only if — you agree to reCAPTCHA, Google sets a cookie on its own domain as part of the spam check. Google states it is used only to provide and maintain reCAPTCHA and for general security. It contains no marketing profile of you.

Embedded content from other websites

Pages on this site may include embedded content — for example videos or images hosted elsewhere. Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if you had visited the other website directly. Those third-party sites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and discuss possible work.
  • To keep a record of projects and agreements we’ve entered into.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries are kept for as long as the conversation is live, and for up to two years afterwards.
  • Client project records are kept as long as required for tax and legal purposes.
  • Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and operations.
  • Spam-check signals are held by Google under its own retention terms; we do not keep them.

What rights you have over your data

Depending on where you live — for example under the GDPR or California’s CCPA/CPRA — you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Ask us at any time to see, correct or delete what we hold about you and we’ll do it, except where we are obliged to keep it for legal, security, or administrative reasons.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

Who we share your data with

We share data only with the service providers needed to run the site and reply to you, each acting under its own privacy terms:

  • Resend — delivers contact-form messages to our inbox.
  • Google — provides the reCAPTCHA spam check described above.
  • Our web host — serves the site and records the server logs described above.

Each provider, what it does, where it processes data and the terms it operates under are set out on our subprocessors page. We may also disclose information if required to do so by law.

Where your data is sent

Our providers process data on servers in the United States. If you access this site from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.

Our apps

Our applications are covered by their own policies, because what they collect differs from the website:

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
