Scoresmith

Stop doing math at the table.

Scoresmith keeps score for game night. Pick the game, add your players, and it handles the totals — including the bonuses everyone forgets.

Free to download on Google Play and the App Store, with no ads and no account.

A Ticket to Ride scoresheet in Scoresmith: routes counted by length, tickets done and failed, and the Longest Route bonus for four players, totalling 97, 66, 109 and 51.
How it scores

The right sheet for every game

Every game opens on a sheet built for it, with the categories, the multipliers and the end-game bonuses already in place. You enter what happened; the totals keep themselves.

A game of Hearts scored round by round: six rounds for four players with the running totals beneath, lowest total wins, and the game ending at 100.

Round by round

For card and dice nights: a row per round, with the running totals pinned beneath. Highest or lowest total wins, with an optional target to play to.

The Azul scoresheet: a five-by-five wall of tiles to tap for each one placed, with the end-game bonuses listed underneath.

Tap the sheetPro

Some games need more than a column. Tap the tiles you placed on your Azul wall and the row, column and color bonuses total themselves.

A game of Cornhole on the head-to-head board: Red 18, Blue 15, a banner reading Red leads by 3, first to 21, and +1 and +3 buttons under each side.

Head to head

Two sides, with the margin always on screen so nobody does the subtraction. The buttons already carry the right points for the game.

The game timer open over a Sushi Go! scoresheet: a countdown at 1:47 of 2:00, a row of preset lengths, and a Start button.

A clock for the table

Count up to time a game, or down for turn limits. It keeps real time with the screen off or the app closed, and sounds at zero, even from the lock screen.

Not on the list? Three open counters cover everything else: a simple +/− counter for any game, Round by Round for anything scored a round at a time, and Head to Head for any game with two sides. And if there is a game you want a sheet for, suggest it from the app’s Settings — that is how we decide which to build next.

At the table

Undo, dice and who goes first

The small things a game night runs on, kept in the same place as the score.

Undo
Take back a mis-tap, one step at a time, up to 25 deep. Even a reset can be undone.
Dice roller
For the box whose dice went missing: one to six dice, with 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 or 20 sides.
Who goes first?
Spins through your players like a slot-machine reel and lands on somebody.
A number pad that is already there
Tap a player and the keys are part of the sheet. Add an amount, set the total outright, or flip it negative.
The timer, without the app open
On Android a running clock sits in the notification shade as a live countdown, with buttons to pause it or add a minute.
Paper and Baize
Light is a paper scorecard; dark is a card table’s green felt. Pick one, or follow the phone.
On the record

Every game, on the record

Finish a game and the result is kept: what you played, the final scores, who won and how long it took. Play again, and each game is filed on its own.

Your regulars, one tap away
Save the usual crew as a group and start a game without retyping a name.
Who wins most Pro
Open a group’s standings for the wins across every game it has played, and the games it plays most.
Pick up where you left off
Save a game in progress and come back to it later.

Your three most recent games are always there. Pro shows the full history, and because every game is recorded either way, all of it is waiting the day you unlock it.

The History tab: finished games of Wingspan, Hearts, Cascadia and Cornhole, each with its winner and final scores.
Standings for a group called Game night: four players ranked by wins over ten recorded games, then the games the group plays most.

Scoring is free. Pro is one purchase.

Private by design

Your scores stay on your phone

Scoresmith has no accounts and no logins, and no server of ours holds your games. Players, groups, scores and history are stored on your device, and it keeps score with no connection at all.

Backups you control
Your games ride along in your phone’s own iCloud or Google backup. You can also export everything to a file and restore it on another phone.
What does leave the phone
Anonymous crash diagnostics, which you can switch off; checks for app updates; and feedback, only when you choose to send it.
No ads, no tracking
Nothing in the app is used for advertising or tracking, and we don’t sell personal information.

The detail is in the Scoresmith privacy policy.
